Description

Csound is a sound and music computing system that has its roots in
the earliest of computer software, the MUSIC-N series by Max Mathews.
Csound was originally released in 1986 by Barry Vercoe and it has
been a part of the computer music world since. Today's Csound works
on desktop, mobile, embedded, server, and web platforms and powers
music software and music-making for musicians around the world.

Plugin Directories
==================

The plugin binaries are installed under ${TRUEPREFIX}/lib/csound/plugins64-7.0.
Please set the environment variable "OPCODE7DIR64" to this directory before
starting csound.

$ export OPCODE7DIR64=${TRUEPREFIX}/lib/csound/plugins64-7.0

Utility Programs
==================

Due to name conflicts, the utilities are not installed as standalone programs.
Nevertheless, you can run the utility programs through the csound executable:

$ csound [-U utilname] [flags] [filenames]
